Owned and operated by Moira Kelly. Situated on 10 acres, just 15 minutes from Clarendon in the foothills of the Blue Mountains our stud lies on fertile land on a rather large hill face. The Stud consists of breeding facilities, stables, dressage arena, small indoor and large high post and rails paddocks and yards to house our stallions 'Cool Cat' and 'Burlington Bertie'.

Our Dreams and Passions
Moira Kelly first met Carolyn Henley in 1999. Carolyn, an established and experienced Dressage Trainer and Breeder spanning 30 years in South Africa, England and Australia. Both had the same vision to create a small but specialised breeding programme totally dedicated to dressage. Our first step was to ensure that we had only the best broodmares, for this we went to The Belcam Stud in Queensland and there we choose our first three mares. All three mares have exceptional bloodlines and more importantly which is our philosophy that they have to have exceptional movement and cadence in all three gates. We later purchased a Palomino mare and Carolyn has her own broodmare Guinevere that she uses exclusively for her own breeding programme. The pair have now been in business for 7 years and continue to live their passions daily of producing high quality exceptional young stock. We have introduced other outstanding Stallions into our breeding programme and we are very excited with our Young Horses from 'Briar 899', 'Jive Magic' and more recently 'Ferrero Rocher'.
Carolyn's has a 30 Acres Dressage facility in the Lower Hunter Valley. She looks after all our mares and babies. When our youngest become yearlings they come to Darlington Stud for handling and later go back to Carolyn for backing, training and campaigning.
 Our big surprise came to us in 2000 when we were given the opportunity to take on 'Cool Cat'. He has been in our family now for 7 years and has produced some exceptional young horses that you can see under young stock. Using our bold large mares, he has thrown some very exciting fine lines into our young stock that have taken some of his amazing movement and more importantly his outstanding temperament.
