Thank you to all the organisers, committee, judges and sponsors who organised a fabulous event “Brenda Wittman Classic" at the Gatton Equestrian Centre and Show Grounds. It was a laid back but very enjoyable competition and my goodness I have never seen so many fabulous imported horses in one place. There are some serious dressage horses and rider that I have not seen before, most of all the comradeship and support given to these guys is great and the Queenslander showed us how to have a good time, they know how to have fun and party, we are very fortunate to be part of this environment. The Van Den Berge Team did an awesome job and Tor placed in every class with his clients horses, he is such a lucky bugger to be riding the awesome Lauries As, this Stallion is a Hunk of Burning Love, handsome and amazing movement and cadence with such fabulous temperament, breeding, he certainly turns head, Now to my boy, Tor did a great job as Noelle was being a bit naughty to say the least, we got a first and second with score of 70% plus and overall Prelim Champion, Tor and Mel are doing a fantastic job and each time he goes out he gets better and better.

On the Sunday Cheryl O’Brien gave us a tour of her wonderful property Remi Stud, we could have come home with 4 fabulous young horses. Cheryl passion for breeding is authentic to the tee with the Hanoverian Breeding Programme. Her mares are outstanding and you would have to look hard to find such quality horses breed in Australia. All the horses are handled, friendly and YES we could not resist one particular young lad and came home with a new foal, Louis Vuitton a six month old nearly black colt by Lauries As, he has the most loveliest of temperament and he will a great pal for Darcy our Quaterback Colt who will be weaned when Louis arrives on the 20th July.
