Like many future stars 'Cool Cat' was spotted in a sale yard and purchased as a yearling for a nominal amount. The rest as they say is history. And what a history, 'Cool Cat' is one of only two Thoroughbred stallions ever approved and classified by the AWHA. It was his show jumping technique at the Colt Classification that granted him the Warmblood status. "He jumped the wings instead of the poles" with amazing style and cool finesse.
At the Sydney Royal in 1999 Cool Cat placed 1st in the 4 year old young horse event and went on to win the 4 year old young Dressage Horse of the Year at Werribee, after Olympic gold medallist Anky Van Grunsven rode 'Cool Cat' she ranked him the "Best Young Horse" at that time and he won Champion of Champions at Werribee that year.
In 2000 he won the status of Elementary Horse of the Year in NSW.
His oldest offspring is now 6 years old and one being a beautiful palomino colt, 'Cosmos Cat', won Reserve Preliminary Champion at the Young Dressage Championship on his first outing in 2004. BUT wait, hang on to your seats we have our first two young gentlemen who will be campaigned this year and mid 2008, 'Ettienne' and 'Rueben' (sold to Gina Beck). 'Ettienne' has taken both the mare ('Guinevere') and 'Cool Cat's' exceptional movement and balance.

Cool Cat is clearly a modern type performance horse, an elegant athletic stallion with an outstanding temperament, powerful excellent paces and very eager to learn. He is eligible to breed Warmbloods, Thoroughbreds, Anglo Arabs and Paints. A very versatile stallion. For you coloured horse breeders, 'Cool Cat' also has a belly splash which promotes the possibility of coloured foals.

His Service Fee for the coming 2007 season is $1,500 plus GST (LFG), natural service or chilled semen available (addional fees for collection & shipment of chilled semen)
